There is a fully-fledged quality assurance office. There are roles and functions of the quality Assurance officer, which are designed to ensure quality. These include;
Mandatory review of all new programs
Periodic study reviews
Student satisfaction surveys
Peer reviews of programs by external disciplinary experts
Participating in international accreditation and affiliation
Monitoring and analyzing students’ information Management System
There are policy documents in place to guide the functions of the
Quality Assurance office, namely:
NCHE Quality Assurance Framework of 2014;
Admissions Policy: It spells out, among other things the minimum entry requirements for all the programs;
Credit Accumulation and Transfer Policy; and
Lateral Entry Policy and Examination Moderation Policy.
There are procedures in place to ensure that exams are well processed and administered.
There is evidence of internal or external examiners in existence.
The university ensures that most faculty members are well qualified
with master’s degrees and above.
